Maureen ran out of the house, and she ran into the woods as fast as she could. She had no idea where she was running, but she had to get away from Natasha, Sally, and anyone else who wanted to tell her what to do. She was so tired of it, everyone wanting to rule her life. She was doing great in her opinion. Why did she need to get shipped off to Detroit, the stink hole of the world? She ran until she could no more and sat on the ground.

She looked around at the trees. It was beautiful. She had never been into nature, but with her heightened senses, she could hear and smell every minute detail. It was amazing. She did not care that all she wore was shorts and a tank top with no bra and was in her bare feet. She would just sit and think. They could not make her go, could they? Maybe she could refuse to go. They would just have to find her a local sire, or Sally would just have to move here, because her vampire booty was here to stay. She stood up and bushed off the leaves and dirt. She wasn’t cold, or hot for that matter, but she had made a decision and she would calmly go back and tell Natasha she wouldn’t be bullied into leaving.

When Maureen turned around she heard a twig snap. She heard lots of noises, but that one felt out of place. She watched and stilled as she saw someone come out from the trees. It was Shane, the bastard that took her, the one she hated more than anything. She immediately snarled.

“Do not be scared, Maureen. I have been watching you. When I saw you upset, I followed you here. I just want to make sure everything is all right.”

“Go away! I don’t want to see you, just go away.”

“I think you should come with me. I have been watching, and you are exactly what I want. I want you to be with me. I will take care of you, and you will take care of me.

Eww, eww, barf gross. Is this guy serious? There is no way I would ever go anywhere with him.

Maureen had no idea what to do. She couldn’t fight him, she couldn’t run, she was totally fucked.

“I think I will just go back to my house, and you can go wherever you came from.”

“No, my dear, it was fate that brought us together. We should listen, and you should run with me.”

Shane walked closer to Maureen, and she backed away until she hit a tree and there was nowhere for her to go. She was nose to nose with him, and wanted to scream and cry. She closed her eyes and braced herself for whatever he would do to her. Instead of a kiss or worse, she felt the wetness of blood. She opened her eyes and saw a wooden stake sticking out from his chest. He fell to the ground and then he was gone, his body nothing much but bones.

Maureen screamed and looked up to see who had done it, who had saved her, but there was no one. It was like she had been saved by a ghost.

“Hello? Anyone out there?” There was nothing but silence. She walked around Shane’s dead body, if that’s what you could call the bag of bones.

She looked around and caught a slight whiff of men’s cologne. She looked around and saw some foot prints, but that was it. Whoever it was, was quick, like vampire quick. She stood there and then heard a voice calling out for her. She ran. It was Tasha calling out for her.

“Tasha!” Maureen called, and then she saw her. Maureen ran and wrapped her arms around her. “Oh, Tasha, it was horrible. That crazy vampire found me. He wanted to kidnap me again.”

“Wait what? Who?”

“Shane, that crazy son of a bitch that took me and the one that broke your neck. I have never been so scared in my entire life. I thought he was going to rape me.”

“Oh my god, where is he? I will kill him.”

“Too late; someone already took care of him. He’s dead. I never even saw who did it. It was a stab and run.”

“Oh, my sweet girl, it’s all my fault. All that talk about sending you away. I’m sorry; we can just try out best without a sire, or I can ask Nora. I’m sure she could find someone local.”

“Tasha?”

“Yes.”

“Let’s go home; my lasagna is burning.

Natasha laughed, and they both started walking.

Maureen looked around as they walked, the whole time wondering who her mysterious savior was and why he never showed his face.

Chapter 45

“A promise is a promise.” Natasha muttered to herself she looked in the mirror at the way to fancy wedding dress she wore fell over her frame. It was beautiful, breathtaking really. It was off white with lace, and it was a strapless with a fitted corset waist. The lower portion of the dress was very full, and Natasha felt like a princess, complete with a tiara.

Maureen came into the room and squealed with delight. “Tasha, you are stunning. Just drop dead gorgeous.” She had on the bridesmaid dress Natasha helped pick out for her. It was blood red and fitted with a low neckline.

“Well, the dead part is right.”

“Can I hug you?” Maureen asked.

Natasha nodded, and honestly, she really needed one. Maureen wrapped her arms around Natasha. “Have I told you how much I love you?” Maureen asked.

“No, but I never get tired of hearing it.”

“Tasha, the day I met you at the vampire bar and went home with you was the best day of my life, nothing but good things have come from knowing you.”

“Not everything, you were changed because of me,” Natasha pointed out.

“No, that came from Shane. He was a stalker and not your fault.”

There was a knock at the door, and Nora came inside. She smiled and was her usual cheerful self. “Oh, Natasha, you look like just the most darling bride ever. I must say, I am a bit relieved you chose a traditional human wedding.”

“Well, as much as I love dark colors and bloodletting, I never had a chance to be a bride when I was alive. This is the wedding I wish I had. This is just a big dream. Besides, we will still get the marriage tattoos.”

“Well, I had hoped so; a ring comes off too easily, but a tattoo is forever.”

“I don’t understand, why a tattoo?” Maureen asked.

“It’s a way to keep us faithful, and to let other vampires know we are taken. Like extra insurance we won’t stray. Since vampires have been around since the beginning, they were getting hitched before the use of rings. Now, it’s more of a tradition.”

“Oh, that’s so sweet; matching tattoos, so biker of you.” Maureen laughed.

“Oh, I hear the music. It’s time.”

Nora helped Natasha with her dress, and outside the old Mansion they were renting for the wedding, the garden was beautiful with red and white roses. Natasha stood back and waited for the music to change. All the guests stood, and then the wedding march started. Natasha walked down the aisle slowly. She saw Tanek waiting for her at the end, and she concentrated on him. He looked so sexy in his tuxedo, and she couldn’t wait to rip it off him. She continued walking then she finally reached him. Tanek took her hand, and she was so nervous and excited at the same time that her hand shook as she slightly squeezed.

Natasha didn’t really remember the vows; the whole thing was a blur. Then it was time for the marriage tattoos. Sally sat at a table. Natasha approached and sat down. Sally dipped the ink then injected a small amount into the back of her hand. Like magic, a design formed, a sign unique to their eternal bond. Natasha looked at it and was at a loss for words. She stood, and Tanek then sat and the design was repeated on the back of his hand. He stood and they held up their tattoos together, showing everyone who came around it was official. They were finally announced as married and bonded as eternal mates. Natasha and Tanek kissed. It was brief, but it was passionate and she didn’t want it to end.

“It’s done, you are mine,” Tanek whispered to her.

“And you are mine. I think I need help changing into my dress for the reception. Care to help me out?”

Tanek’s eyebrows rose a bit. She could see the heat in his eyes, and they waved to everyone as they made their way back up the aisle to the dressing room. Natasha locked the door, and immediately, Tanek held her against the wall and attempted to take off her dress. He seemed to have no luck figuring out how to get her out of all those layers.

“Tear it, just rip it off. I need you, Tanek.”

He gripped both sides and the ripped it open, and her breasts popped out and she wore nothing but her heels and a white lacy panties. He took off his tux more carefully than hers since he didn’t have a spare set of clothes. Tanek was naked, his erection hard and ready.

“My wife,” he said huskily

“My husband,” she said with want in her voice.

Natasha got out of her panties, and she bent over the arm of the couch. She didn’t think she could be any more clear with what she wanted. He kissed the back of her neck, and ran his finger along her slick opening. Finally, he thrusted himself into her and they both called out in pleasure.

“Please, Tanek, I need it fast, fuck me hard.”

“Yes, fuck yes, so wet and tight,” he muttered, increasing his pace and slamming into her harder and harder.

He reached for her breasts and rubbed her nipples as he pushed into her. Natasha felt her climax approaching as her body was getting hotter, and his cock felt so good stretching and hitting her in all the right spots. Finally, it happened, she exploded, her orgasm taking over. As she screamed her pleasure, her pussy contracted around his cock. He followed her immediately, filling her with his slick warmth. She loved the way he felt as he spilled inside her. Finally out of breath, they were both sated and basking in the afterglow of their love.

“That was the best married sex we have ever had,” Tanek said, pulling out of her.

“That was the only married sex we have ever had,” Natasha said.

She picked up her torn dress. At least she had pictures. She walked over to where her reception dress hung. It was a beautiful black with diamonds along the neckline. It was custom made, and she loved it. She couldn’t believe how happy she was. She dressed and would have the best party of her life. She had the man she loved, and now her life was really ready to start.
