Copywriting is both science and art, where every sentence is part of a larger whole; to make you feel so you can somehow take action. No one stays at Motel 6 because they have amazing rooms or because they make you feel like royalty. But people do stay there — even if only subconsciously — because they don’t want to feel alone, and Motel 6 cares enough to, “leave the light on for you.”

I love making people feel, and when moving from marketing to fiction, I was most excited about erotica because the raw ability to make people feel, along with endless access to all the filthiest words, gave me a great playground to roll around with the filthy words I wanted to use and the feelings I wanted to leave my readers with.

I started out by writing a lot of short stories. Single serving fantasies I called them, and while I love these quick-hit sticky little daydreams, I wasn’t writing as Lexi long before I was hungry to stretch my creative muscles.

I wanted to write a series, or rather a serial; something like what you see on TV, with cliffhangers and an overall arcing mythology that moves from one episode to the next, dripping answers like cum from a hole.

One of my favorite shows back in the 90’s was The X-Files. I loved Moulder, Scully, and the mythology itself. With an X already in the title, it seemed like a natural spoof/homage. I figured, why not add another couple of X’s and get really nasty?

So I did.

With the XXX Files I want to write a story that had all the other stuff readers love in a Lexi title — deliciously filthy sex, sharp dialogue, page turning stories — but with more mystery and deeper intrigue. I wanted The XXX Files to feel like watching TV, if there was copious amounts of nudity and characters were allowed to say shit like, “That’s it, ram my fucking cumbox, Brad Hammer!” without it only showing after midnight and sounding stupid cheesy because of it’s lack of budget.

When it’s just words on a page, budget doesn’t exist.

I hope you love XXX Files. I had tremendous fun writing it.

I write for my readers. That means I decide what to write next based on reader reviews. If you enjoyed The XXX Files, please let me know so I can write some more.

Lexi Maxxwell isn't my real name. It's a pen name I use when writing for YOU.

Every sentence I write as Lexi is designed to arouse you.

I dip my quill in anonymous ink so I can splatter the pages with the impure thoughts we all think, yet fewer have courage to ponder.

If you’re reading this now, I already know that you and I are different. We embrace the human, vulgar side of our minds, so we can know ourselves better, and improve our lives through awareness. Sex
isn’t
something to hide, or be embarrassed of. You deserve to enjoy experimentation, even if only in your mind.

YOU are the reason I write.

“Lexi Maxxwell” may not be real, but every one of my words are. I write for readers like you, discerning lovers of explicit erotica. My stories are character driven, and always hardcore. Please help Lexi grow so I can keep writing to fill our mutual appetite. I want to make you feel what no one else will.

Kisses,

~Lexi Maxxwell xxx
