walked in.

“Mom and Dad, I think you already

while her parents looked at them both.

“It’s very nice to see you again. I
brought you some flowers, Mrs. Paige, I hope you like roses,” Brad said handing
her the big bouquet.

“Why thank you, I haven’t had roses
in a long time. Wasn’t that nice of him to give me flowers, Harry? Listen Brad,
why don’t you help me with bringing everything to the table, all right,”
Melinda said taking him by the arm while he looked helplessly back at Hailey

Hailey looked over at her father
who had a big smile on his face as she walked over him as he said, “I knew that
you were going to get with that guy, he’s a very nice man.”

“How did you know?” Hailey asked
him while they walked together arm in arm to the dining room.

“That night at the party he talked
with us most of the night off and on, especially with me. He was very much into
you, he told us all about himself and what he does and everything. I think you

“All right everybody, let’s sit on
down and start to eat,” Melinda said as she and Brad brought the food. Brad

said sitting down next to Hailey.

Harry stood before the table to say
a prayer, “God, we thank you for the food we are about to receive this evening

That evening, Hailey had never been
