Sequels. Sigh. They’re hard. Everyone has this new scary thing called expectations. And the added pressure of knowing that everyone who is reading the sequel must’ve been a fan of the first is anxiety-inducing. What if they’re all disappointed?? But there’s also a comfort in writing a sequel because anyone reading it must love the characters and is already rooting for them before they turn back the cover.
