Nico was exhausted from work, but she was happy to finally go home to be with her babies, Antonio and Katerina. When it came time for Nico to give birth, she had no clue that she was having twins, which she cried about for a bit before she accepted it. Their kids were named after both their parents, Antonio Jonathan Di’Maggio and Katerina Natalia Di’Maggio. They were turning three tomorrow and Nico had no idea what she was going to do for their 3rd birthday. It wasn't enough that she was their mother, she had to be their birthday party planner and more. What made it worse was that Matty was away for a business trip. On top of everything, Grandma Antonia had passed away about three months ago, devastating the Di’Maggio family. She was their everything; they cherished that woman like nothing else. Nicolette thought she was about to explode from all of the overloading stress she had from both home and work, Nicolette thought about Matty and her and how for some reason they were on the verge of a divorce. She just didn't understand where everything went wrong. After Grandma Antonia passed away, Matty became distant, not paying her any mind and not being around to help her with the twins. Nicolette felt alone, especially because her best friend Gabriel was traded to a different baseball team all the way in New York. She thought about cancelling the kids’ birthday party but she just couldn't. What kind of mom would she be if she did that just so she could take a break for herself? The only positive thing in her life was the fact that her business was booming, but then that meant less time with her babies.

With a sigh, Nicolette walked into her house that she moved into after her and Matty separated. She was proud of herself for making a home for her children…

Elisabeth is twenty-four years old. She was born Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Africa. After being raised in Bridgeport and West Haven, CT, she moved to Ottawa, ON, CA when she was sixteen. She has seven siblings; five sisters and two brothers of which she is number five. She started writing in the third grade but never showed anyone. Currently residing in Ottawa, she is in the Human Relations Bachelor Honors Program, with a minor in Conflict Studies, at Saint Paul University and Ottawa University. She plans on graduating in April 2016 and going to medical school focusing on psychiatry.
